Dental advice

During the coronavirus outbreak, dentists are not permitted to see patients face-to-face for routine or non-urgent problems. We are only permitted to see a very limited number of patients with certain urgent dental conditions.

Many dental issues can be diagnosed and treated at home for the time being until we're open again. The document below gives really clear guidance on dental self-help to keep you going until we re-open fully.

Out of hours emergency service
If you have a genuine dental emergency such as severe pain, trauma, uncontrolled bleeding or facial swelling, call NHS24 on 111 between 6pm and 9am Monday to Friday and all day Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Temporary dental advice line
We've set up a telephone service which is open to existing patients of ours for dental advice. It's open on Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 6pm. Please phone 01368 655011 and listen to the message for details. If you're not a patient of ours, we're sorry but we can't give you advice or treatment at this time. You must contact your own dentist first.
